Aim: To understand International Women's Day and its significance.


Present:


Introduction (5 minutes):


Greet the students and establish the context by asking about their understanding of Women's Day.

Explain the significance of International Women's Day and the purpose of the lesson.

Input (10 minutes):


Show students images, videos or posters related to Women's Day and its celebrations.

Explain the history of Women's Day and its evolution to an international holiday.

Highlight the main objectives and themes of Women's Day.

Practice:


Controlled Practice (15 minutes):


Give students a short multiple-choice quiz to assess their understanding of the input.

Go over the answers as a class and give students feedback.

Guided Practice (15 minutes):


Provide students with sentences related to Women's Day and ask them to match each sentence with the corresponding picture.

Check answers as a class and encourage students to ask for clarification if needed.

Independent Practice (15 minutes):
